2030 sustainability targets

At Aurubis, responsible corporate governance is a fundamental pillar of the company’s long-term development. Sustainability is an integral element of the company strategy and serves as the foundation for economic success, responsible conduct, and securing competitiveness.

Sustainability at Aurubis encompasses using resources efficiently, reducing environmental impact along the value chain, and shaping relationships built on trust with employees, business partners, and other stakeholders. Sustainable activities are systematically tied to business success and lasting value creation. The 2030 Sustainability Targets outline the key action areas and guide Aurubis’ ongoing advancement in the areas of environment, people and economy. They translate the strategic embedding of sustainability into actionable and concrete measures for the company.

We report on our progress toward achieving these goals annually in our non-financial report and in the 2023 Sustainability Report. These documents can be found on the "Reporting, KPIs, and ESG ratings" page.
